BioPesticides

Why Biopesticides?  Defined by the EPA, Biopesticides include naturally occurring substances that control pests (biochemical pesticides), microorganisms that control pests (microbial pesticides), and pesticidal substances produced by plants containing added genetic material (plant-incorporated protectants) or PIPs.

The Biopesticides supplied by Biofarm use ingredients that are plant based and come from the farm.  These products have been evaluated to be effective and do not put toxins in our environments and safe for use around people and animals.  The ingredients are mainly food grade and many are natural and made with organic vegetable oils that do not negatively affect pollinators as systemic pesticides do.  Moreover, most of the effective insect repellents on the market are mainly composed of Isopropyl Alcohols and other toxic gasses and materials.  The insect repellents on this site are water-based and use vegetable oils in formulas that have proven effective in peer reviewed studies and presented in Scientific Journals.
